Customized
Electronic Design & Manufacture.
General
Control Dynamics' design, engineering and manufacturing
capabilities are characterized as a build-to-order and
build-to-plan environment which is ultimately planned
to satisfy the end-customer requirements and specifications.
Control Dynamics is Quality accredited to ISO9002.
Electronic
Product Design - EPD
Control Dynamics is accomplished in the research, design
and engineering of customized electronics for a wide
range of commercial and industrial products at a board
or full system level. Our design and engineering proficiencies
embody a comprehensive range of microprocessor and DSP
platforms, including 4 to 32 bit real-time embedded
systems development. Additionally, design and manufacture
of discrete digital, analog, video, mixed circuit and
RF designs are also supported.
Manufacture
& Testing
To supplement the EPD side of our business Control Dynamics
is also proficient in low to medium volume product manufacturing.
Our capability in this area includes PCB to complete
chassis level production and testing. Most types of
component profiles, from fine pitch surface mount to
standard thru hole, can be produced and tested to specification.
To ensure the timely delivery and quality of manufacturing,
CAD/EDA tools are used extensively to specify the final
electrical and mechanical design and procedures for
a product. These tools perform a fundamental role in
assisting us to satisfy the criteria for accuracy, consistency
and predictability for any manufactured product.
Where required, customized in-circuit and/or full functional
testing fixtures, jigs or de-bugging tools can be designed
and built to assist in operational verification at a
board, sub-assembly or system level. Also included in
the overall production process, and before any physical
testing commences, is the dependence in our Quality
process to minimize and even eliminate the requirement
for rework or scrapping of inventory.
Mechanical
Design Services
As with most electronic designs, specific mechanical
/ electromechanical components are often required to
complement the overall design requirement at different
levels of complexity. Mechanical design for machining,
casting, tooling or sheet metalwork is performed in-house.
The manufacture of all mechanical prototyping or production
work is subcontracted to select companies that specialize
in precision machining, metalwork, turning and/or finishing.
ACA
Compliance
All products are designed to meet current ACA compliance
requirements. Where possible pre-compliance testing
is performed in-house while final testing is submitted
to qualified companies for compliance verification.
